Dichosas Comisiones
A finales de la semana pasada vendí las participaciones del fondo referenciado al Hang-Seng (el índice de Hong Kong) que mencioné hace poco. Más que nada porque después de hacer un post sobre el asunto, sería irónico que estallara la burbuja y me pillara por esas latitudes.
Pues bueno, el caso es que el fondo cotiza en dólares, y Self-Trade me ha vuelto a hacer la tres catorce. Ya me pasó cuando lo compré, pero claro, entonces no tenía un blog donde quejarme… dicen que los blogs son para eso, ¿no?
Cuando compré las participaciones del fondo, me di cuenta que había pagado un 1,39% extra sobre el valor liquidativo en aquella fecha. Me sorprendió mucho debido a que eso supuso comprar a un precio bastante superior al máximo histórico de ese fondo así que llamé por teléfono. Tras unos minutos de espera me atendió un chico con acento Argentino y una asombrosa capacidad para hacerse el sueco. Muy cosmopolitas los de Self-Trade (el broker de Société Générale). Tras mucho marear la perdiz dejó caer que “igual el cambio de divisa no me había sido favorable”… no me digas más. Pasaron dos semanas hasta que las participaciones alcanzaron el precio que yo había pagado.
Para la venta, parece que el cambio de divisa me ha sido más “favorable” pues “sólo” he vendido un 1,24% por debajo de la cotización real del día en que la orden fue ejecutada, es decir, el día en que la gestora (Schroders) proporcionó a Self-Trade el valor liquidativo. Total: 1,39 + 1,24 = 2,63% al cesto. Precisamente yo había contratado un fondo porque al ser un capital muy pequeño no quería incurrir en las comisiones de comprar y vender acciones; que ironía… así yo también presumo de ofrecer fondos “sin comisiones”.
El agravio es aún más evidente debido a que este fondo cotiza también en euros, con lo cuál ni tan siquiera se hacía necesario comprobar la cotización del dólar para darse cuenta de que los números no coincidían. Por supuesto, Self-Trade sólo ofrece contratar el fondo en dólares, ¿por qué será?
Moraleja: si vais a invertir en un fondo a través de Self-Trade procurad que sea en euros. Los demás brokers no se como funcionarán, pero también sería prudente informarse por si acaso.

Bueno aunque probablemente las molestias no te compensen lo que puedas recuperar si realmente les quieres hacer daño presenta una reclamación a la CNMV. Aunque parece que la CNMV no haga nada no hay nada que pueda ser peor para un broker que sus clientes se empiecen a quejar a la CNMV.
La CNMV es el organismo de moda.
No tengo tiempo ni para escribir en el blog… como para andarme con zarandajas en la CNMV. Además, si aunque sea casi un 3% si les digo la cantidad neta que eso supone seguro que les da la risa.
Pensé que lo mejor era “difundir la palabra” para que la gente sepa lo que hay y a Self-Trade se le acabe el chollo de ofrecer sólo las versiones en dólares de los fondos para así sacarse un buen pico en el cambio.
En este caso en la reclamación a la CNMV no creo que te diesen la razón, pues cuando compras un fondo en dólares (y no tienes una cuenta con dólares) te compran moneda con tus euros con las comisiones normales, lo digo porque hace 10 días me parecía que el dólar en 1,36 estaba para comprar (vendiendo euros en esos 1,36 dólares/1 euro), por lo que pregunté en Bankinter qué cambio me aplicaban a la compra de dólares al traspasar un fondo en euros a otro en dólares (de Renta fija) y me salía el cambio a un 1% peor que el cambio medio dolar/euro(te venden a 137,3) , y luego para el retorno del fondo en dólares a otro en euros perdía otro 1% (te compran tus euros, suponiendo que se han mantenido constantes, pagándote los dólares a 134,7), pues tampoco aplican el cambio medio sino uno distinto a la compra de dólares del de la venta de dólares, es decir que ¡OJO! con los traspasos de un fondo a otro en distinta moneda, pues pierdes un 1% ó más en cada traspaso (que suponga cambio de moneda), aparte del resultado propio de los activos que tenga el fondo (reflejados en el valorliquidativo diario) y del movimiento, favorable o no del dólar.
Por supuesto en Bankinter también comercializan, en la mayoría de casos, los fondos de Asia y Latam en dólares, aunque la gestora (Fidelity, JPMF, Schroders..) tenga el mismo fondo en dólares y en euros, pues así se ganan un 2% (1% en la ida y 1% en la vuelta) limpio y sin riesgo, ni de los activos ni de la moneda.
Podías comentarselo a los de la OCU, ya que ellos están continuamente recomendando selftrade en su revista Dinero15, a ver que dicen.
Gracias por avisar, estaba a punto de abrir cuenta con ellos porque me interesa el fondo UBAM NB US Equity A, pero no sé que hacer ahora. ¿Alguien sabe si hay más entidades que lo comercialicen?

He visto en el libro de tarifas de selftrade que la comisión máxima por cambio de divisa es de 5 por mil, con un mínimo de 5 euros. Igual te han aplicado el mínimo y por eso sale ese tanto por ciento tan alto. Si no es así, reclamales la diferencia.
